I would not recommend the Argosy, unless you are desperate for a hotel stay at a casino… Based on that exchange and the other experiences during my stay. I explained, it was not the sound of cleaning but the personal conversations at a very loud level when there are guests still in bed. And if they could be reminded that their could be sleeping guests still on the floor She basically belittled me for sleeping in and ridiculed me by saying I must not understand that this is a business and they have to turn over rooms quickly for the new guests. That I was woken, after being on the casino for till 4am, much earlier than I anticipated by their loud conversations in the hallway. After a day of being tired and developing a headache, I simply went to the front desk to mention that housekeeping should be more aware of their voice levels while turning over rooms. However, it was the conversation I just had with the lady at the front desk that has upset me most. I had a few different experiences during my short stay.

I would NOT recommend staying at this hotel not only because of the parking incident but also due to the hotel condition. If the front desk would have expressed this at time of check in and we didn’t move our vehicle then that is on us but the lack of communication regarding the parking lot is unacceptable. The next morning when walking to our vehicle we found that our vehicle had been moved/towed to a different parking lot so they could begin repaving the lot. The front desk did not inform us, did not provide us a letter nor did we receive a phone call informing us that our vehicle needed to be moved from the casino parking lot the next morning. Upon checking in we were told we had to park in the casino parking lot (which is a bit of a distance from the hotel) or the VIP lot as they were told it was going to be available (it was not). Hotel parking lot was unavailable due to repaving. Hotel is somewhat run down and room was in fair condition. Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort.
